Pregame: On December 21, 2014 Unnecessary Muffness met Murphy Dumps in the fourth annual Sweaty Bowl. The 2014 Sweaty Bowl marks the third appearance by Unnecessary Muffness in only four years. Despite playing for the championship numerous times since the leagues inception, Muffness has failed to capitalize, losing the previous two matchups (Sweaty Bowl I & II). 2014 marks the first Sweaty Bowl appearance by Murphy Dumps. Dumps best previous finish was a 4th place finish in 2013. Unnecessary Muffness and Murphy Dumps have developed a friendly rivalry over the years, in which somewhat surprisingly, Murphy Dumps has the better record of the two head to head.
Postgame: Once again the Sweaty Bowl will haunt Unnecessary Muffness dreams until next season. Muffness' squad inexplicably drove off the proverbial cliff this week scoring a dismal 84.14 points and putting up their second lowest score of all time. Murphy Dumps had a semi-decent week getting strong scores from Shady McCoy and Jeremy Hill as well as two TD's from a very hit or miss Mike Wallace. Murphy Dumps joins past Sweaty Bowl winners WTFantasy, Mighty Joboos, and Dungeness Crabtree as the fourth team to have their name engraved on the Sweaty Cup.
